I had a 4.5-month pudendal neuralgia flare which resulted in my piriformis muscles guarding. After my PN pain went away, I still had insane pain in my piriformis. Affinity treated me for piriformis syndrome, and after 3 sessions I am now 80% better! After my second session, I noticed an immense difference from when I'd come in just 20 minutes prior. I came to Nashville on a girl's trip and my hot flashes were out of control. Called Affinity Acupuncture hoping to get an appointment. They were so kind and got me in just before their closing time. The first session made such a huge difference so I went one more time before I left to go back to Texas. Finally relief from chronic pain!!! Being involved in a serious car accident in February I was dealing with chronic lower back pain and sciatica. For me, medication was not the answer. I wanted a permanent fix and I have found this at Affinity Acupuncture. I am thrilled to say I am on my way to walking my 10 miles a day and almost 100% pain free. Amazed!!  That’s the first word that describes my experience with Dr. Alexander and my treatments. I have struggled with lower back and left hip pain for well over 6 years. I’ve received treatment from an orthopedic surgeon, physical therapy, multiple joint/muscle steroid injections and drug therapy. All were temporary and none of those gave me the relief that I desperately needed.  I’ve been undergoing treatment with Dr. Alexander for almost 3 months and it has been life changing!! I can sleep at night without pain and have total faith that I’ve found the long term solution to my chronic pain. After all of that, I’d like to add that Dr. Alexander and his staff are a pleasure to work with - professional, communication is easy/thorough, and make you feel welcomed!! I cannot recommend Audrey enough. Acupuncture has truly been life-changing for me, and that’s all due to her skill, knowledge, and genuine care. She took the time to explain every treatment, answer all of my questions, and make sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. I always felt like she genuinely cared about me and my progress, not just as a patient but as a person. The results have been incredible. Acupuncture has helped significantly with my anxiety, migraines, and IBS. One of the biggest improvements was a dramatic reduction in bloating which is something I have struggled with for a long time. I have tried meditation, supplements, and various diets, but nothing has provided the level of relief that acupuncture has. The same is true for my migraines; I experienced improvements that I had not found through other approaches. Beyond the results, I always looked forward to my appointments because of the welcoming and supportive environment she created. If you're considering acupuncture, I wholeheartedly recommend her.
