We discuss your condition and symptoms and evaluate your presentation. Then present you with a treatment course.
Treatment Course
The number of procedures you will need will vary based on your specific condition, the amount of time you’ve had it and other factors.

Acupuncture is quick and painless; you’re in and out of the office within 20-60 minutes.

Our Founder
- Dr. William Alexander, DAOM, L.Ac.
William has advanced training in orthopedic and sports medicine acupuncture, oncology acupuncture, and SAAT allergy treatment.
Dedicated to continuously evolving his practice, William has also earned the title of a Preferred Provider for the Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture Protocol and completed studies in Dr. Tan’s Balance Method, Dr. Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture Masterclass Series (focusing on stroke and pain management foundations), and Master Tung Acupuncture with Brad Whisnant.
William launched Affinity Acupuncture in January, 2012 and has been helping individuals reduce pain, improve function, and enjoy a better quality of life since then.

Cassie is William’s partner in life and business. They met in Chicago while he completed his Master’s of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and he quickly proved to her the efficacy of acupuncture. With her background in business and his as a practitioner, they opened Affinity Acupuncture shortly after marrying and moving to Nashville. Cassie had to reduce her hours in the office when their twins were born, but some of our first clients still remember Cassie and the twins helping out back in the early days. She still comes to the office on occasion (sometimes still with the twins), but primarily works from home.

Sarah is a dedicated medical assistant with four years of experience in healthcare. A graduate of South College Nashville, Sarah is passionate about helping people and ensuring a smooth, supportive experience for all our patients. With a warm, caring approach, she is here to help assist you on your path to wellness and make your visit as comfortable as possible.

A Tennessee native, Teresa has been a part of the Affinity Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine team since our inception in 2012. Her exceptional skills in tech, administration, and countless other areas demonstrate that she is a true Jill-of-all-trades and integral part of the team. When she is not surpassing all expectations behind the scenes, you might find her hiding out on a beach in Mexico or other tropic wonder.
