Acupuncture is a very useful tool for managing cancer side effects
Living with cancer causes tremendous strain on the body and mind. Cancer treatments can often make you feel worse, with some cancer patients experiencing fatigue, nausea, neuropathy, depression, chemo brain, and many other side effects.
While acupuncture cannot cure or prevent cancer, it has been proven to help reduce the pain and side effects many patients experience, giving them an improved quality of life.

Chemotherapy-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy
Depression & Anxiety
Depending on where the patient is at in their treatment for cancer, our recommended treatment course is 2x a week, 2-3 weeks before they begin chemo or radiation therapy and then reducing to 1x a week during the course of the treatment.
Patients typically see that symptoms due to the cancer treatments are less severe.
For some, maintenance visits aren’t necessary following the initial treatments.
For others still experiencing side effects from cancer, ongoing biweekly or monthly treatments can help to reduce symptoms and improve energy levels.
If you experience any of these issues, additional acupuncture treatments may be required to help ease symptoms and improve your condition.
Being able to treat oncology patients is the reason I went into the medical field. As a young boy, I watched my grandmother suffer from breast cancer. I remember all she went through and the deep desire that I could do something, … anything… to help.
I know I can’t cure anyone’s cancer, but I believe I can help them fight it and feel better while going through the battle. Training with Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center has given me the tools to treat many symptoms that come with cancer treatment.
I couldn’t help my grandmother, but now I can help YOU.
